^^^ You're diving right in, aren't you? I've been here since last year and I still hesitate before jumping into these threads... Okay...here you go: If you only had one evening to win the heart of the man/woman/person of your dreams, how would you do it? And be specific please, this is for posterity. 8)

how does this work can anyone join in?? i will anyway. re: peters question. Easy........ i´d whip out the old tiger skin thong, put "play that funky music" on my stereo and must some funky moves!! ;D seriously though i would keep it simple (maybe i´m boring?) and cook dinner myself, lots of nice wine, give her flowers and then bust my funky moves!! ( ;D ) I think women like honesty and by doing it this way they would appreciate the effort i went through to cook and woulnt feel uncomfortable and i wouldnt seem in anyway pretensious.

what is the worst thing you have ever done to a person of the opposite sex with whom you have been "involved" with?

Im not touching that one with a ten foot pole.
(this is the new version of truth or dare...someone asks a question and atleast 3 people need to answer it and then someone else can ask a question... what do you think?)

Peters question: uhmm..thats a nasty one I'd probably take them to a nice pub so we can break the ice with a few drinks, relax by playing pool and where its quiet enough to have a good convo. Then go for a romantic stroll and see what happens (boring but it works for me!) James question: Ooohh....Im not that evil so the nastiest thing is probably when I stood on my (now ex) blokes "sensitive area" with super sharp high heels! It kinda sliced a bit and was a total accident, honest!

Ana: Whats the nastiest thing you ever did when you were a child? Um.. played in the mud? Seriously, I was a really nice kid. You can ask my mom. I didn't start acting up until I turned 18

To Ioleeta: Hello! I've already answered that question when Ezri asked it in an earlier T or D thread.
To Peter: I did a variation of that answer when Ana asked about my greatest regret. I guess it wasn't with the right girl. Better luck next time...maybe.
To James: Now you're getting back into the swing of things, buddy!
The adult version of my "mispent youth" question. Hmmm....
I once had a shameful affair with a girl that was going out with my roomate at the time. He was on a six-month basic training posting for the Army National Guard and his girlfriend and I decided to "be lonely together." At first, I "got involved" in the hopes that she would stop asking me if I wanted to....Then, it became a cure for loneliness. It eventually became an addictive drug that I decided to kick by bringing them back together at every opportunity. When she finally decided to tell him what happened between us, it became the beginning of the end for all of us as friends.
So I hurt her, I hurt him, and I hurt myself. Three for the price of one.
My question for any or all: Describe the best location where you experienced intimacy and how did you share it.

Welcome to the Spacedock Ioleeta. Great to have you here.
Here's my answer to a truth elric asked me which kind of answers the question "what was the worst/meanest thing you did before turning 18". When i thought about it there was one particular thing that happened that really stood out for me.
It was a few years ago. My girlfriend and I had just finished High School and we were really keen on each other. At that time we were unsure what we were going to do in the future. I decided i wanted to go to uni near home, but my gf found out that her family was moving to Europe.
I wanted my gf to stay with me but i didn't want her to miss out on her dream of travelling the world and living in Europe. She told me that if I loved her she would stay behind and we would start a life together on our own. She said that if i said "yes" we would move in together, and if i said "no" she would never want to see me again. She asked me if i loved her and i told her i didn't. I stared right into her eyes and lied to her. I had to do it. I knew that if i told her the truth, that i really did love her, she would stay in Australia and miss out on the chance of a lifetime. So i lied to her and as i watched her walk onto that plane, i wondered, as i do till this day, if i made the right decision.
Just realised I'm getting a bit too nostalgic. Sorry for going on about, it's just easy to talk to you guys.

Alex! That is the most unselfish thing I have ever heard in my life! Im sure you have heard the saying "If you love something set it free, it will return if it was meant to be"... Whats the worst thing I have done as a child? Umm.. wow. where to start. First of all I was a bratty little girl who wanted attention and couldnt get it so I did what I could to get my parents to notice me... yeah.. I was a great little girl! LMAO. I hung out with the wrong kids, (were talking knives and guns at the age of 12) started dating VERY young and well.. overall treated my parents like doo doo. Do I regret that? Heck ya. My mom died when I was 16 but luckily for everyone by then I was getting out of that stage.. so my mom and I were really getting closer by then..but it hurt my dad's and my relationship on too many levels... Anyhow.. on with the truths..

^^^Alex, I strongly agree with Ezri. If you'd seen "Casablanca," I'm sure you know that that's what heroes do when it comes to saying goodbye to the women they love. It must have hurt like hell! You're a braver man than I.
Ezri: Here's an alternative truth to the general one I issued if it's not to your liking.
Have you ever dated a boy who was a former boyfriend of one of your best friends, did you tell her and what happened after you broke it off?

Elrics question: The best place has got to be a couple of xmas' ago I was really drunk and decided it would be fun to get intimate with my boyfriend at the time behind a tiny xmas tree in the corner of a busy pub on a saturday evening! Unfortunately I was so drunk I didnt realise my boss was in the pub too and to this day havent been able to live it down
