Good, good, good.
After a few so so episodes, Enterprise is getting good again.
Granted, detained required a much greater knowledge or the Enterprise universe to fully enjoy, but I'm a niner.. sue me.
We got some great stuff here, a jail break, Archer's messing with alien cultures ala Kirk, and everyone really had something to do for once.
No one was wasted in this episode, the first time I can say that's REALLY happened.
I think it's only falling was it was a little too big for an hour... I expected the old Trek twist where we the bad guys turn good, then bad again.
But, I REALLY enjoyed this episode. Beyond what I can say here, I can just sum up in entertaining, which is, after all, the point!
I've very excited again, can't wait to see more.. we've been in quite the dry spell lately and I can't wait to see where this goes. We learned so much about the Suliban in this episode. Much like our lessons that tried to make the Kazon more than one dementional (namely in the episode Alliances)
DS9 took 3 years to get into something real interesting and I feel that Enterprise has started with a good one.
Let's review the "new" enemies.. TNG tried the Ferengi... took 3 years for the Borg.
DS9 didn't really try until season 2 when they began dropping hints of the Dominion.. the BEST enemy IMHO.
VOY tried the Kazon... then stole the Borg... too bad.
The Suliban seem to be good. A nice mix of nasty, pleasant, and political.
Keep it up B&B, so far, so good... if the show continues to progress I see major potential (this is, after all, YEAR ONE!)
