Well......? What did y'all think?
I was on the edge of my seat! Even though, after thinking about it, I realized that they used a lot of tried-and-true plot devices, the episode was a strong one that kept my attention as it twisted and turned.
So, how long until Season 2 debuts?? I can hardly wait!

Well, I FINALLY saw it... this house hunting (see Ten Forward) has kept me busy. I missed 2 days and 2 nights.. BOTH airings (was late for 1, forgot the second)
As for this... well we were looking at a house and the tape didn't work, then tonight I almost forgot about it!
Did I like it... hmmm
It was entertaining, but I felt the "back in time" bit was a bit confusing and unnecessary. Had the dead daniels showed up in his quarters and given him the info it would have made more sense (even if it didn't make for confusing us which was SLIGHTLY the point of the "back in time" bit)
Other than that, it brought out the problem with Time Travel in General. Paradoxes (this didn't originally happen, but instead of stopping it he just finds the cause... too late, the future is altered too much)
As for the cliffhanger... it's a great kind of hanger, apparently no outs.... but the solution could fail us. Future's End part 1 was amazing great.... but part 2 let me down to no end.
The worst is that with technology and time (literally) on their side... how COULD Enterprise compete with Future Guy? Well, he couldn't, so it requires us to suspend disbelief to no end. Good Time Travel examples?
City of the Edge Time's Arrow (OK, the episode wasn't so grand, but it handled time travel well) Trials and Tribblations
Personally, Time Travel is too delicate to be handled in a long term way, and I think that as the "Cold War" progresses it has the possibilty of become too complex for the writers own good and wind up ending unsatifactorly and all to quick, clean, and easy.
