I saw TMP in the theater when I was 6 and loved it. I can remember it like it was yesterday. I went with my dad to a theater that has since been torn down. I sat through the whole thing mesmerized. Then when it was over, I wanted to see it again. (That was in the days where they let you sit through the next showing without having to pay again.) It was way past my bedtime, but I talked my dad in to letting me stay until the part where Ilea gets zapped on the bridge. Later, I got the comic book (which I still have) and the bubble-gum cards (which I wish I still had.) I guess you could say that I'm a long-time Trekkie.
