I really like WOK, but I feel now (that I'm a bit older) that UC was a better STORY. But it's a tough call.

[Disappointed that some people feel that TFF was a bad film. IMO, it far outclassed TSFS, and equalled some of the others]
HEY! I did this!
*points at the 'movie rating' thread*
But no worries...
Still:
1. Star Trek: First Contact... This film has an excellent story, looks supreme, is very well acted by the characters, and has some brilliant script writing... [9.5/10] 2= Star Trek: The Undiscovered Country... Again, an excellent story with some excellent writing and performances. Perhaps needed a little sharper edge to it, but otherwise excellent. [9/10] 2= Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan... Yet another excellent story, with yet more very good acting. Some excellent scenes make this very accomplished. [9/10] 4. Star Trek: The Final Frontier... Ok, so the majority of people hate this film. But I like it. The story is ambitious, and I think carried out well. The interplay between characters is very well done. Not brilliant, as there are some weak moments.. but still good. [8.5/10] 5. Star Trek: Insurrection... The story again is very good. The interplay is good, and it looks very pretty. [8/10] 6= Star Trek: The Motion Picture... Very atmospheric, with a decent story. It is acted well, and also nicely scripted. Good. [7.5/10] 6= Star Trek: Generations... It had some weak moments, but the acting is good, and it passed on the Star Trek movie baton well. [7.5/10] 8. Star Trek: The Voyage Home... I used to really like this movie, and some moments are decent, but after a time the jokes are dull, the story unoriginal, and it really fails to stand up to repeat viewings. [5.5/10] 9. Star Trek: The Search for Spock... This movie is terrible. It fails to impress on nearly all levels, and really is bad. [4/10]
There!

You can read my minireviews of the Trek films on the thread that ST created, but my footnote speaks for itself.\/

[glow=green,2,300] 1. The Wrath of Khan - a classic 2. Generations - it bridged TOS and TNG 3. First Contact - it was the first TNG movie 4. The Undiscoved Country - the last voyage of the TOS crew 5. The Motion Picture - first voyage of the TOS crew 6. The Search for Spock - the middle movie 7. The Voyage Home - i like an ending 8. Insurrection - a 2 hour Next Gen episode 9. The Final Frontier - just sucks

I think WOK is the best IMO. It is the only show that actually brought back one of the villians from TOS. Following in a very, very close second would be FC

I wanted to go with First Contact, since I like TNG more than I do TOS.....but I think that Undiscovered Country is a much better story line than what the TNG films have been doing.
