35 covers, for 35 years... can YOU get them all ($70 + tax) Well, I will NOT attempt it... BUT a FEW can't hurt Managed to pick up 4 (Kirk, Picard, Khan, and Janeway - I left a Chakotay and a Borg Queen) Looking for a Sisko, Archer, Spock, Data, Q... That'd do me I think.

It appears Madison only has 7 TV Guides
Kirk Picard Data Khan Borg Queen Janeway Chacotay
I still want to get: Q Spock Archer Sisko (What does Dax have, just Jadzia or both?) Seven McCoy
If you're area has them, I'd be happy to buy one THROUGH you! (store bought, no stupid address lable please)
I'd also be happy to ship YOU one of the ones availbable in Madison in exchange. Please let me know. Most of the Gas stations do not carry this issue yet, and will wait to see if they get a different print, I will also post this on (cringe) Trek BBS.

head to www.tvguide.com to buy a whole set (Any series or the whole thing for $85) I'm hoping, that like most promotions, they'll have plenty leftover and be selling the sets for 70, 50, 45, 35..

Is it really worth it? Or did TV Guide only do it to get Trek fans to blow all their money on the 35 different copies...

Yes and Yes. Is ANYTHING worth it? You must remember that Gene invented the show to make cash.. Playmates made action figures to make cash.. Paramount launced a movie franchise... well you get the point. My dad always had a saying, something is only worth what someone else will pay for it. This logic led me to 2 major conclusions... no one is overpaid (so they give Julia Roberts 15 million to put her mug in a picture, I may not do it, but someone else can do that all they want) and if Bob if Georgia pays $85 for those TVGuides, it's worth that to HIM, not me, not anyone else but him. If he sells them on Ebay for 200, it's worth 200 to that other person... When talking collectables, those jerks at another site that complain about capitolism and raping the fans of their cash... they've forgotten that those FANS paying money for the TVGuides find it WORTH it. therefore, those fans are happy with their purchase and dont' feel raped at all. I can say you're getting raped if you buy them off Ebay for 150, because you can get them for 85 somewhere else. (Sorry for ranting, but I've been facing 4 of 5 messages at the OTHER place, trying to hold conversations about exchanges and such, but only hearing complaints and grumbles) I love you ***, don't mind my complaints .

Anyone seen the T.V. Guide 35th special anniversary magazine with the semi holographic cover, There are 3 versions, Kirk and Picard are standard on the cover with one of the other Captains, Archer(which I bought), Janeway, or Sisko. Inside is a pull out poster of all 35 covers that UT refered too when he started this thread.

Well, the local grocery store only had those 3: Archer, Sisko, and Janeway... we got the Archer one a day before their "official" release.
Zeph, do we dare tell them how much the guy charged us for it when the UPC wouldn't scan? ;D
