Saw this last night at the cinema and loved it! I'd say its as good as the first, its certainly a lot funnier and gives the Vampire Nation a more human feel. It also seems to be a lot more graphic than the first I thought.

Hmm, the first one was excellent, though not noticed by many... This one certainly looks as good... But then it is a Wesley Snipes movie, so that is pretty much a given [in action terms...]

If it gives a detailed look at The Secret Vampire Nation, I'll definitely see it in the theatre. I think that the first film was too much kinetic action and not enough story. But of course Mr. Targeted Demographic Audience will probably say "That was the point of the film!" Perhaps, but even the original comic book that premiered the character, Tomb of Dracula, gave some background info on the vampire society along with the necessary "blood & gore."

I thought the first movie had more of a storyline although it didn't really develop the vampire nation

^^^That's why I was disappointed with the first film, dear lady, and it looks like the second film didn't go much further if your last comment is any indication.
