Anyone here watch this show? I've just finished watching all of the episodes, and man.. What an impressive show. Rich characters, fascinating storylines, lots of great humor and intense drama..
Wonderful, wonderful stuff.

If it's on cable, I won't be able to see it until it's released on VHS (or DVD when the year's over).
If not, is it in syndication or does one of the "networks" carry it?
Also, is it anime or live action?

It has been released on DVD, but it also shows on late-night Cartoon Network at times. I prefer to watch it on DVD, since the Japanese with subtitles is better than the English dub. It's an anime, yes. I strongly suggest checking it out. Very original, very good. And aside from all that I mentioned above, it also has an amazing soundtrack which is almost another character in and of itself.

I'll hunt it down at the local video stores by the end of the week! You're an effective sales lady, you know that?

^^You should tell my boss, Elric, maybe he'll give me a raise You won't be disappointed. I can't recommend a better anime, really. And believe me, I know my good anime from my bad anime.. since there's quite a bit of the bad stuff floating around. Here's the setting/background for Cowboy Bebop, for those who are interested: The show is a short run, only about 25 episodes or so, with a movie set for US release this fall. It's set on a spaceship about 80 years from now, and it's about a little group of bounty hunters, each with their own distinct characters and fascinating backstories. A great thing about the show is that each episode is unique and different, and incredibly absorbing. It can be funny, touching, or action-packed.. depending on the episode, and all of it is very well done. I do recommend watching the episodes in order, although it's not absolutely necessary.

Elric, you're a real gentleman Unfortunately I don't know his email address, or I'd have you also suggest that he transfer me to the DVD section, since the chick who currently runs the DVD section doesn't even know who Akira Kurasowa is.
