Oh dear. The publicity for AOTC has begun.
It must be said though, that it looks a little better than I from what I've seen in the trailers.

The entertainment magazines are drowning in ad slicks and "official interviews" from the stars. In the trailer that I saw in the theatre, Armidala went through at least 8 costume changes, which makes me wonder what she and Anakin was doing between scenes.  Not that I'm complaining. Each outfit was hotter than the last, especially the Basic Black Sleveless Jumpsuit! (MAJOR DROOL!) The tension between Anakin and Obiwan should prove interesting if the trailer is any indication and the Jedi are debating among themselves, which would indicate that this could be the beginning of the end for the order, setting the stage for their theoretical Last Stand in Episode Three. |

Which then has to seque neatly into the original and classic episode four - a new hope.
Which is precisely why I've stayed away from these films. Maybe when they are all out together in a 9 film set I'll reconsider.....

Not much drumming here yet, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time... I saw a bits of it on the other night on TV... Now, I try not forming an opinion about a film before I've seen it's end credits rolling, especially not based on trivial bits like this, but... The guy who plays Anakin this time [and whose name I keep forgetting...] all clad in black leather. Oooo, he's b-a-a-a-d, allright!  |

I don't mind the promos; I usually ignore them and judge the movie when I see it.
But seeing "Star Wars Episode 2 -- the Breakfast Cereal" at my local grocers is just too much.
