I have put this up at TNR but got no response so I thought I would test the waters here seeing as you all seem to be quite eloquent with your responses.
My Collective Consciousness theory, say's we are all essentially the same lifeforce but experiencing it differently through the varying senses and the unique way we have all lived our individual lives.
If we say our lifeforce is not physical and exists as say, energy, one single mass of energy in a non physical dimension that has been around forever experiencing only what it is but wants more. What would be the ultimate new experience but to create a physical dimension that could be experienced through the senses of touch, smell, taste, vision, audio and others that we dont recognise or have lost touch with.
You would create a physical genetic program of sorts to make a vessel to carry part of the lifeforce so it can experience things in different ways (the big bang), you add a learning sequence to this program so each next generation of physical existence grows more complicated, like an organic computer, hence the evolution theory. When our vessel expires we take our experiences back the lifeforce as a whole. If you relate this to religion then it could be said that we are all, god because it has been said that god is everywhere and knows everything. I dont expect anyone to take this on board straight away because it needs thinking about so have a go its quite mind expanding and revealing.
