I'm traditionally a console gamer(Playstation) and so Im relatively new to the whole PC world of gaming. I've heard a lot of raving reviews about ST: Elite Force. I've even heard you get to kill characters you don't like (are you thinking what I'm thinking)
Has anyone here played it. Do you recommend it??

Elite Force is great, right up there with Armada. You can get it for pretty cheap these days too, I'd definitely recommend it. The single player aspect was a little short - I'm waiting for a friend to send me a copy of the Expansion Pack. Holomatch (multiplayer) is awesome though. Buy it if you can!

In the expansion of Elite Forces, you can blow up Voyager. Janeway screams at you and Chakotay points a phaser at your head.
I actually fell off my chair laughing!

Woo hoo! I'm on a roll today...congratulate me on my first post in the Gaming forum! Anyway, I'd highly recommend Elite Force. I swore off first-person shooters after I got a little obsessed with Doom II, but when EF came out I knew I had to get it. I honestly think there's something in this game for every Trekker. My personal favorite part was the level that takes place on the ship from the "Mirror, Mirror" alternate universe. This game even has a very believable Trek storyline, which is more than can be said for many so-called Trek games. Buy it, and prepare to be obsessed!

It's better than u can imagine.... Some 1 that knows how 2 kill the ForgeBoss?? The key is never, ever stop moving. Keep strafing back and forth all the way around the arena behind the pillars. While you're doing that, throw everything you've got at him, starting with the photon torpedo launcher. Good luck!

It's awesome!! I have the expansion, but am waiting until I "beat" it to "expand". [glow=red,2,300]ANYBODY[/glow] know how to beat the Hirogen Hunter at the end of the "Mirror" Enterprise/Klingon/Malon space station level?

That guy will fire a burst at you and then pause. I hid directly under him while he's firing, that is, under the catwalk that encircles the room. Once you're under him, he'll just fire directly at the floor. When he pauses, move out from under the catwalk and shoot him with the weapon of your choice. After a few seconds, move back under the catwalk and repeat until he's dead. Once he's dead, the door will open. Take his weapon and leave. Good luck.

...Once he's dead, the door will open. Take his weapon and leave. Good luck. That was so inspiring! I could amost hear Picard's voice saying the words. It gave me a chill. By the way, Dog, what my esteemed colleague MT just recommended is exactly what I did. Might I recommend that you use up your most lethal weapons first? Oh, and one other thing... ...don't miss. Ever. (Hey, Mentat, I was trying for Q there...how was I?)
