We have a RPG forum, open to anyone to join. The forum Star Trek PRG is located in The Gallery.
Q. What is an RPG?
A. An RPG is a Role Playing Game. In the case of the Spacedock RPG, it is an online role-playing game based on Star Trek, set post-Voyager. The Spacedock RPG is a role-playing game that is played by the use of the Spacedock BBS website. It is a collaborative story telling effort, where each member controls one of the characters in the story. Each member of the RPG writes a part of the story, predominantly from the perspective of his or her character, to give it a unique, exciting and fun twist to it!
What are you waiting for? Stop reading this FAQ and start thinking up a character for the RPG. You could be just what we are looking for.
Q. What is an NPC?
A. NPC stands for Non-playing Character. An NPC may be a "red-shirt" crewmember or a villain. You may introduce an NPC at any time as you see fit to progress the game's plot. However, too many NPCs in a story may become confusing. The current recurring (which appear in more than one episode) NPCs in the RPG include Security Officer Ensign Golko, Nurse Candy Marcella, with more to come…..
Q. How do I join?
A. In order to join the Spacedock RPG you should first check out the website at
www.geocities.com/ncc6901/faq.html.
First read through the FAQ on the RPG website and read the Guidelines as well. Depending on where we are in our missions you might be able to join mid episode. If that is the case you also should read the current episode. We will be archiving all past episodes on the RPG website and they are also available right here. To become a member of the RPG all you have to do is be enthusiastic and ready to have fun, as well as become a member of Spacedock BBS. Then you can private message to either of the moderators of that forum, the hard working Ezri and Ultimate Trekker, with character information and we will take you from there.
