Ok, let me apologize in advance for this thread I know no one wants a "squealing girl" thread. I also thinking I'm cracking up. Or growing up, you pick. I've been a Trek fan for many a year now, but until this point I've never developed any mini-crushes on and Trek characters. Never even thought any of them were attractive. Certainly the boys have had plenty of eye candy on each incarnation of Trek, but I never felt there was too much for the girls to admire. But I've been watching a lot of my Voyager tapes lately, and darn it, I'm developing a little crush on that Tom Paris. Any other ladies share my sentiment? He's easily one of the funniest guys ever to grace a starship, and his sweetness to B'Elanna in "Drive" is just meltingly adorable. It's funny, I've watched this show since it first aired, and never seen it before. Maybe my tastes are changing, who knows? Again, I'm sorry. ::rolls eyes at herself::

awww, how sweet! Do not feel too bad Ana, some of us *cough* never grows out of the impulse to be "a squealing girl". ;D
Paris never really caught my eyes, I like the odd characters, not the obviously cute ones. He is a hottie though ;D I have unfailing swoon attacks at a regular basis over Picard and Picaro. lol

Now I don't feel so embarassed Actually, it's not so much the physical thing, although he is pretty adorable. It's more of how sweet Paris got to B'Elanna. He was such a good boyfriend/husband! My aunt has a thing for Picard.. and her husband has a thing for Crusher.. I always thought that was cute

Well. I admit that my preference for Voyager is because it's the only series that ever inspired a dream.
Quite unexpectedly.
Because up till then it had been a fun show to watch but I didn't think I was particularly drawn to any the characters until.... my subconcious told me otherwise.
And I have no regrets. It perked up my love life no end!

::glances around::... Hey, no boys allowed! And Christina.. man.. maybe we *should* move this thread over to the Neutral Zone.. because you can't just say something mysterious like that and not share ;D

Oh yes I can. It's all part of the feminine mystery that is ME.
And Peter. I have no intention of venturing into the Truth or Dare thread and posting there.
Staying right on topic There's nothing wrong with having little crushes on fantasy figures. Perfectly normal IMO.
It's when they turn into obsessions with the actors concerned that you have to step back and examine your motives.
Meanwhile - enjoy the show!

Paris is okay, but I agree with the above poster in that his hairline is going 'North', shall we say. Crushes are okay so long as they don't interfere with real life.

? let's see, high forehead - sign of intelligence? moss doesn't grow on a busy street? Male Pattern baldness is a sign of good testosterone levels! Nothing wrong with a man who does not have a full youthful head of hair. Nothing wrong with a man who does, either?
