I have to confess, I've never seen City on the Edge of Forever (Stupid Sci-Fi Channel! Always running A Piece of the Action when I want to watch...uh, no offense, James) So, of the ones I have seen, I'm going to say Balance of Terror.

Frank Gorshin is a fairly well-known(except by you apparently, young man) actor and celebrity voice impersonator. He played the first(and best IMO) Riddler on the original Batman TV series. If you see "Let This Be Your Next Battlefield" he played Bele, the Charon police investigator who tracked down Lokai, the shuttlecraft thief, for centuries(don't remember how many, sorry) until he ended up chasing him on their home planet with no known resolution. Ahhhhh... I guess I am too young to know about him. I didn't know Doohan was a Veteran until I read your first post. My respect for him increased by a LOT. P.S. I'm suprised you, as an American, knew about the RCAF, Americans don't seem to care about your Northern Neighbours a lot of the time. My respect for you increased by a LOT.

Thank you, "SantaX!" I've visited your lovely country several times. Montreal is definitely my favorite city "up there" although Toronto and Ottawa are beautiful as well. As far as celebrity voice impersonators go, you might be more familiar with your fellow countryman, Rich Little. Oops! Sorry for going off-topic. I tend to do that often, don't I? Senility, ya know.

As you probably know I have only seen a few TOS episodes, and I was quite young when I saw them. But the one that stood out for me was the one where Edith Keeler was saved by Mccoy and it changed the whole timeline. Kirk then had to make the uktimate sacrifice to set things right again. I'm pretty sure it's "The City on the Edge of Forever". It seems to be quite popular with all you TOS fans as well.
Can you please recommend any other TOS episodes which stand out, and that you think i should hunt down and watch??

I'm going to hunt them down at my local video store. Should I also check out The Cage - I think that's the one with Pike.

I envy you! Being a westerner, I haven't had the chance to visit Ontario or Quebec. Tell me, while in Ottawa did you see (or stay in) the Chateau Laurier? It's often called: "The Third House of Parliament"

I envy you! Being a westerner, I haven't had the chance to visit Ontario or Quebec. Definitely make the trip if you get the chance, Ontario and Quebec are both beautiful provinces. I go to college in northern Vermont, so I get the chance to visit Quebec quite often. Beware - the farther north you go, the fewer people there are that speak English. Nothing beats Montreal, though. It's a great city, not all trashy like all of our cities here in the US. The skiing in Quebec is pretty decent too.

I would have to say it's got to be either Balance of Terror or Journey to Babel - either way it had Mark Lenard in it which is probably no coincidence.

Tsk, tsk, mes amis... (yes the Klingon speaks french too) I've been to both Toronto and Montreal. Loved them both, but I could have done without the horrible traffic jams in Toronto. They do have the best museum tho... lemme look up that name... Ah, yes, the Ontario Science Center. Fun, fun, fun!
