Setting aside the question whether a culture which communication is based on using metaphors would be possible, I think Darmok is a very good episode. And Darmokisms!
So.. a new game: in which episode the Darmokism is referring to. The one knowing/guessing right will make up a new one. If you really cannot think of any, I have a book with few examples on it, but I urge you to try as they're not too imaginative ones...
An easy one for the starters:
Tasha and Data their arms opened wide.

Could that be the Loss, Deanna losing her emphatic abilities?

Or even Night Terrors, with Deanna dreaming...?

Could that be the Loss, Deanna losing her emphatic abilities? Give the lady first prize for guessing right (sorry, ST)! Your call, dear lady.

Riker and Picard, past between them.

I was afraid it'd be too vague... *mumblemumblemumlbe*
An easier one:
Riker, his loyalty divided.

"Hide and Q"
Picard and Riker didn't really have a history together, but Riker was being tested by the Q and Picard helped him to "see the light."
Data, his mouth widened.

Not a bad guess, but actually it was the Pegasus I had in mind... And yours... Could that be Deja Q? Q giving Data a belly laugh?

What can I say, lady? You're obviously better at this than I am. After you post a few more of these, you could have the basis of a Trek Book. I'd contact a literary agent and the publisher of Paramount Television reference books and episode guides. If Ira Behr can sell that disappointing "Rules of Acquisition" book, you'd be a shoe-in with this concept.

Err...was that 'correct'?
In that case--
Worf, his thoughts on Earth.

"Family" where Guinan reveals to the Rozhenkos that Worf thinks highly of them?
