At the moment, there are several glitches on the board.
Firstly, hidden e-mails are appearing. This may be rectified, but I am unsure... We shall see.
The most important error, however, is the stroke. They seem to be randomly multiplied when one is entered.. And there are posts appearing with simply hundreds of lines of them...
This is bad, but I have been attempting to get in contact with Proboards. Unfortunately, the owner has gone on a skiing holiday for the weekend, and so there may be some delay..
I therefore recommend that you refrain from using UBB code, as it contains slashes, and try not to place any in your text for the time being...
StolenThunder...
Edit: In addition, can you post any additional errors in this post... We should then be able to compile a list...

Just use 'carrige return' within the box to form paragraphs, it's always safer...........

Uhh... What's a carriage return? Sounds...adlerish. No problems with enter before --and not now, I notice. I hit it before I realize I'm hitting it...

It's that big key on the right of the letters with the left pointing arrow...

The 'enter' button, in other words... Mine appears to be working fine... But I am using IE6, and they have been altering shortcuts and the like, so yours may be a subsidiary problem...

I consider the 'enter' key to be the one next to the numeric keyboard with the word 'Enter' printed on it.
A lot of mainframe applications use them for different purposes so it's important to keep them separate, in my mind at least. Just because they can perform the same function at other times, don't assume they always will..........

I have two big keys on the right of the letters with left pointing arrows, Backspace and Enter. Backspace is the one that eats letters behind it's back, Enter is what I've been using... And didn't know there were any alternatives!

Your keyboard is mapped differently to mine, then.
Ah well, c'est la vie

"I consider the 'enter' key to be the one next to the numeric keyboard with the word 'Enter' printed on it."
I see... For IE, they should perform the same task, though...

I've not noticed this at all either. Also I'm using IE6
Is it still happening Gnomm? If so I'll report it on the major list.

No, it's not been happening again, only once when I posted something in the "Wow" thread in 10F. Might have been related to the UBB problem: I quoted something and tried editing the code part off, but it resisted being highlighted and then the Enter problem appeared...
Also it could be just my IE hiccuping again, these UBB anomalies may not go well with it's hot temper...
