Oh yeah... as for the garbage bit.. it has a strange "post 9/11 reshoot" feel to it (Yeah America!?)
Not to mention the GRATUITOUSLY LARGE US flag which could kinda offend some other countries since we are NOT the best thing this world has ever seen, even though we are depicted as such in the movies.

^^^Rent the Michael Keaton "Batman" and the Christoper Reeve "Superman" movies, UT. "Bats" stands by the flag in the closing shot and "Supes" carried "Old Glory" in the end of at least one of those films (can't remember which, sorry).
Not that I disagree with your assessment, it's just that there's a precedent to associatiating superheroes with the American Flag as though they were inseparable!
How many of you have seen "Captain America" on the screen or on video? I rest my case.

That was Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (one of worst movies of all time)
I just KNOW that they did some post 911 reshoots, and I would not be surprised if the "NYers Unite" was one of them.
