I'm a female, but I guess most people have figured that out by now. I have my faults, but nearsightedness is definitely not one of them! I've known and visited several people who lived there years ago. Baltimore and Annapolis are both beautiful cities! As a guest escort for a convention tour, I once drove to BWI Airport via I95 to pick-up Paul Darrow(a star from another show) and we travelled straight to Princeton, NJ. Oh, and I've heard of the Colts & the Orioles.

Well, here's another female here.
I live in Alabama, but please don't hold that against me; I'm not an Alabama native.

^^What? Either PreatorX is referring to the Seven Of Nine-bashing and the current T'Pol-bashing that's going on in another BBS that will remain nameless or Trek's history of being more male-oriented in terms of story-telling and characters. I would debate the latter point, especially post-TOS, but I can understand it.

I've never met a girl who liked Star Trek, o.k. maybe one, oh yeah, and on the Internet. A good friend of mine, his wife is a Star Trek fan; I think he's the luckiest man in the world. P.S. Nolo: I didn't mean my last post to be negative in any way. It was mostly a joke (feigned surprise.) You have my most humble apologies.

You know what Preator I have never meet a person that like Trek (or Sci-fi) except for my mom. So since the only one that I know is female I keep forgetting that this is a “boy show”.

It is not a 'boy' show, Nolo as you would rapidly discover if you got the chance to go to an ST convention. Lots of female fans there!
That other place (sounds like the House of Lords referring to the House of Commons:D[/i] has lots of lady gushers posting too.
I'm one of them. Sometimes.

It is not a 'boy' show, Nolo as you would rapidly discover if you got the chance to go to an ST convention. Lots of female fans there! Agreed. Who do you think wrote those K/S stories and borderline R-rated fanzines like "Spock Enslaved?" No guy I know would illustrate Spock in a torn toga with chains on his wrists! To be fair, most of the early Star Trek fanzine stories were written by women. Guys just read the PG ones, mostly.

Well to me the fact that ST doesnt bother me is more the key. I will admit that yes I do like some treks.. but some just plain annoy me. Im not saying star trek isnt a good show.. no no no.. dont read me wrong. There are times when I have no problem sitting through hours of trek- sometimes even the ones I have already seen. My problem lies in the trek I saw when I was younger.. and would fall asleep only a few minutes into.. Im more of a trek fan by association.

OOOOh I just loooove Star Trek. And I do not know anyone else that more than tolerates it. My boyfriend likes it, but only if there is Borg-action going on. Otherwise he is just yawning... It will be a cold day in hell before I admit to my friends that I enjoy the shows so much that I actually post in several Star Trek bbs'.
