Oh dear, Elric, I'm really afraid I'm going to be a big disappointment on this answer True, I did used to be a goth club kid, but I was one of the more conservative ones. See, I have fair Irish skin that burns easily, so I've sort of gotten into the habit of wearing head to to clothing. I did get into bustiers and corsets as clubwear for a while. So, probably a bustier and pleather pants is about as wild as I got. I hate skirts, so no miniskirts for me. Ok, Elric. Here's your truth: What's your biggest regret?

Other than not seeing you in a bustier, you mean? Sorry, my dear. Couldn't resist that, although I'm sure you looked fetching in it. Seriously, the most regretful moment of my life was when I thought that a young lady really liked me when all she was doing was using me to get closer to a few British actors at a convention. I met her while attending a con in Philadelphia about 12 years ago. Paul Darrow of Blake's 7 was the guest. She had just recently watched the show and didn't know anything about Paul other than the role he played, so I let her ask him a few questions out of ignorance before I informed her about an unaired script that he wrote that he auctioned off at an earlier con. One conversation led to another until it was time for her to leave. I said "Under the circumstances, I don't think a handshake would be appropriate." So we kissed like parting lovers. One month later, she informed me that she got a promotion at her job, so I suggested that we celebrate in town. We went to a nice restaurant in Center City(H. A. Winston's if Peter's reading this). We walked to Penns Landing and necked near the pier for an hour. I walked her back to her car because I didn't want to seem impulsive and "after one thing." I didn't see or hear from her again for two months until we saw each other at another con(do you see a pattern developing?) She didn't talk to me for any length of time and we only kissed in private areas like the elevator when nobody was in it. When the festivities wrapped up, I made the mistake of thanking Paul for introducing us and "starting something special between us." I thought I was referring to a friendship that could develop into something more, she apparently thought I meant something else... So without notifying me, she dumped me and took up interest in a bartender who worked at the hotel where the con was held. She dismissed what happened two months previously ("I don't know what you're talking about."), I expressed understanding and disappointment, and left. Either I should have made it a "one-night stand" and left it at that or I should have seen it coming and avoided her like the plague. To this day, I'm still not sure.

...Couldn't resist that, although I'm sure you looked fetching in it. You know, I've never understood how the word "fetching" came to mean "attractive." Every time I hear it, I think " wretching."

^^^I was going to say "ravishing" but that sounded equally awkward. So I'll just continue to overuse the word "lovely" for the sake of avoiding discomfort from fellow Pennsylvanians.

How considerate of you, Elric! Thanks! (And you don't even want to know what I think of when I hear the word "ravishing..." 8) ;D )

Other than not seeing you in a bustier, you mean? Heh, boy, did I walk into that one or what? As for your answer.. women are so evil.. I'm glad I don't have to worry about dating them.

Heh, boy, did I walk into that one or what? You should have known better, my dear. ;DI would never say that! Some women are insecure and believe that they don't deserve to be loved, so they do evil things that, in the long run, cause more harm to themselves than the men that they dump. At least that's what I tell myself to avoid becoming a Bitter Old Man!

At least that's what I tell myself to avoid becoming a Bitter Old Man! Well, good for you I'm only 22 and I'm already bitter. And no, not all women are evil. My lovely female comrades at Spacedock certainly aren't, from what I can tell

On the second paragraph, we're in complete agreement. As for the first, I would say that you were more sweet than bitter.

And no, not all women are evil... Actually, they are. Some are just more evil than others. ;D 8) (I'm only kidding, of course, to avoid asking for that dare Aurian dared me to ask for about three pages back...)
