I wrote a long essay in one of the Survivor threads that sums up my answer.
Live long and prosper!

Had to go for Kirk, he's every little boys hero and I for one, always dreamed of being in his shoes, when I was growing up. ;D

This was a close call between Spock and McCoy. Really, for me, they were the only two contenders. Kirk was way too .. too.. too much of a ladies man for me to really like him, and the rest didn't get enough exposure.
In the end, I went with Spock. I loved his commentary on humanity, and come on, he's Spock!

Every woman's favourite challenge is out in the lead, I see. What is it about the strong, silent types?
Anyway, he's half-human, so he could be attainable. Christine Chapel certainly hoped so!

Every woman's favourite challenge is out in the lead, I see. What is it about the strong, silent types? Being silent has its advantages. How many men are attractive until they open their mouths? There's only so much "Where's the remote?" and "What's for dinner?" and "Where's my Football Shirt?" we women can stand. Spock would never say those things. Spock would choose one woman, focus all his intensity on her, grow exquisite orchids for her enjoyment, and compose sonnets with Vulcan Harp accompaniments. And I bet, if Spock broke wind, he wouldn't blame it on "barking spiders" or try to light it on fire!

Now thats really attractive... 8) Qab I'm with you on this one...I worry about the Pon Farr thing though. I like having a sexlife.. Don't worry. The way I understand it, it's just compulsory once every seven years (whether human or vulcan years I'm not sure). And we've only witnessed the males who've been otherwise celibate up to then for one reason or another. The rest of the time is 'voluntary', like every other species we know about so far.......... ;D

I voted for Chekov...and would the Moderator of this board PLEASE correct the spelling of Pavel's last name!!! The vote is cast because of several things....1- I'm the kind of person who usually cheers for the underdog...2- because over at the Captain's Table, I'm sometimes referred to as the Goddess of Nerds--and if Chekov wouldn't be my appropriate consort at THAT royal table, who would be? and 3-- the most important..... In spite of the fact that my REAL initials are JTK....and that today, I am a real Captain....way back when, I was a Cadet...and on the verge of giving up...it all seemed soooo hard! I took a weekend leave and decided to hideout in a motel so I could decide if I should toss in the towel (and dissappoint almost everyone I'd come in contact with to that point, cause they all had so d**n much faith in me...), or keep on and survive it. Well, low and behold, there was a TOS marathon on! Now, for as far back as I can remember, I'd identified with Chekov...nerds of a feather flock together! Well, I decided at that moment, that if Chekov could make it to Ensign, so could I!! That became my mantra...."Chekov did it...so will I"....and I did! In later years, my job gave me the privledge to be a "booth person" at the Conventions.....I met Walter Koenig then...and I told him that story....and I still hear from him to this day! Chekov is my HERO!!!
