8)Good covert operations obtaining the release dates on the 7 sets from Amazon, Ultimate Trekker!!! By any chance were you able to find out if the price of $105 per set remained constant throughout the series? :oTo be able to pull up any episode of TNG & watch it at anytime,..Its beginning to look alot like Xmas! ;D

Yes, that is the price for all.. but it's cheaper at other sites and stores. (Best Buy not only will have the first season for 99, but is giving out a special disc with it (at least the website does)

I don't know if this is a common theme around various Movie Outlets, But yesterday, March 19th, I was holding in my hand the Boxed set of TNG First year! The Price was a bit high at 119.95, but it was there on the shelve! I thought the release date was March 26Th??? Could be the actual release date is earlier, but vendors were not allowed to release it until March 26th,...allowing fairness in availability to the public regardless of what venue. Could be it was on the shelve by mistake.

I'm going with Best Buy as well.. the CD-ROM with the entire TNG Companion is *awesome*!
UT, I would imagine the bonus CD is also available in stores. But it's probably wise to go there the first day if you wanna get it. I know when Final Fantasy IX came out, Best Buy also gave away a bonus CD-ROM with it, but if you didn't go the first day, you didn't get it, because they ran out.
How exciting! I will be *so* happy to toss my TNG videotapes in the trash, some of them are more than 10 years old, and of very poor quality...
Ahhhh.. no more fast forwarding through commercials, or trying to find the right spot on the tape..
It IS Christmas!
I <heart> DVDs.

Yes, yesterday while heading to Best Buy (which happens to be located next to Zeph's work place) I saw him walking towards his car... so I backed up my minivan at him and honked. And, I called 1888BestBuy to ask. They said there is no reason for the stores to NOT participate, but they don't HAVE to. I called the local BB and they said that they didn't hear anything. When I walked in, the guy didn't even know it was coming out next week for sure (of course, I set him straight). He said they won't know until the Sunday flyer comes out... Luckily for me, they open at 9 and lunch is usually 11:15 Doubt there will be a big run on them Tuesday morning. Otherwise, I have to order from the site and then wait a week to get it! (I could order overnight, but that's $8 and I think Ezri would comlain that I blew 8 bucks to save a week on DVD's that I'll own forever.)

Amazon, StreetsOnLine and Blackstar are all saying 1st April for UK availability now. And for the same prices, just about, give or take post and packaging.
Everything that is crossable, is crossed.
So why did mainland Europe get them on 15th March?
